A sculptural work where sacred heritage and contemporary transformation converge into a single, unsettling relic.

This piece stands approximately 40 cm high, built upon an authentic religious chapel structure, not a reproduction but a real devotional object reclaimed and recontextualized. The architectural frame carries its own history — a silent witness of faith, ritual, and time — now transformed into a vessel for a new narrative.

At its core, a vertical composition emerges in luxury chrome and gold finishes, executed with extreme precision and material control. These finishes are not superficial coatings; they are worked to achieve depth, reflection, and tension. Light does not simply touch the surface — it fractures across it, revealing layers of meaning depending on the angle and distance.

The sculptural forms appear both constructed and eroded, as if something sacred had been forced through matter and left partially intact. The presence of the distorted face at the base anchors the piece in something human, something broken — while the upper figure suggests elevation, devotion, or perhaps transformation through suffering.

The contrast between the historical sacred architecture and the contemporary metallic intervention creates a dialogue between past and present, belief and reinterpretation, permanence and collapse.
