A fallen figure rises — not through glory, but through corruption. Black Market Ascension reimagines the idea of victory as something bought, traded, and consumed in the shadows.
The body stands elevated, yet fragmented, stripped of identity and transformed into an object of value. Beneath it, symbols of power, violence, and domination intertwine — suggesting a system where human life becomes currency, and transcendence is no longer sacred, but transactional.
This is not a triumph.
It is the illusion of one.
The piece speaks of hidden networks, of bodies turned into commodities, and of a world where ascent is built on silent suffering. Beauty remains, but it is hollow — coated in gold, sustained by darkness.
